Very nice original example of the vehicle identification flag which has a Balkenkreuz rather than a swastika. It is one sided as it is only meant to be stretched over a vehicle, so that friendly aircraft will know not to bomb or strafe you. Typically seen in original photos on the engine deck or turret of panzers. It has metal gromets, one each corner. The grommets look brass but they are a coated steel. The Balkenkreuz is screen printed on white which is sewn to the red background. This is a very nice example with just a few small stains and holes. The color is still quite vibrant.
