Description
Original 1920s / 1930s fire extinguishing bucket. It would hang on a wall and, in case of a fire, it would be used to scoop water up to be thrown on the flames. This is why it is built with two handles. It makes it better for scooping and throwing. The bucket is bent a bit out of shape, but not too bad. it could probably be bent back with a little cautious effort. It retains much of its original red paint and quite a bit of the original stencil. It was too cool to pass up. Including the handle, it measures around 19 5/8" long. The bucket itself is about 15 7/8" long.
