Description
These are classic German tent pegs that were a left over from the Great War and produced throughout WWII. The pegs are used but still in good functional condition. A few show signs of being hammered in. Interestingly enough, you should not need to pound your stakes into the ground; that is a very American concept. German soldiers were not given hammers to set up tents and using your rifle would have probably gotten you in hot water. In most terrain, all you really need is a good firm push. I haven't used or needed a hammer in many years of reenacting.
