Description
Original period silver plate cigarette case with an embossed map of Scandinavia. The initials GHW engraved on the front. It shows Norway (Norge), Sweden (Sverige), Finland and a fair bit of Denmark. Marked "C.G.H IMA ALP H.". which stands for C.G.Hallberg from Stockholm, Sweden.
Nice little cigarette case. These map cigarette cases enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in the past few decades, but it is actually fairly rare to come across original examples. It has tarnishing and shows its age.
