Original Wehrmacht Vehicle Torch

This is the best example of a German army vehicle torch that I have ever come across. It is basically new old stock. Short of having its transport box, it is complete with its wrench and funnel dangling off it and it still has a small cleaning tool and spare parts hidden away inside the handle.The paint is all original and in great condition (only minor wear). The decal instruction sheet on the front is also very nice with only very minor wear. Normally the decal is completely gone because they are rather fragile.

This would serve many roles for a vehicle, but one of the most interesting functions was as an engine compartment heater. Many vehicles built after 1942-43 actually would have a place to mount this just behind the radiator to keep everything from freezing in extreme cold. It looks like it has been used but probably only once or twice, just enough to get the top dirty. There is no gas inside so it should not pose any problems for shipping.

It hurts a bit to sell this one at any price because it is so nice but I have to think of this as a business, too.
