Description
Interesting vintage pocket ashtray with the US eagle on the top. It opens up and has a little space to put your cigarette. I have seen things like this frequently in Germany, but I have not seen them much in the US. I am guessing it is 1940s era, perhaps wartime, perhaps something postwar marketed to GIs.
It is in good condition and doesn't look to have been used. There is some wear / discoloration on the cigarette holder part. No maker marks.
