Description
Vintage French Pommade Maurice eye ointment medicine. It was to be applied to the eyelids. It was meant for treatment of blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids in which they become red, irritated and itchy and dandruff-like scales form on the eyelashes). The main ingredients are yellow mercuric acid, lanolin and vaseline.
The medicine is still in the tube and comes with its original box and paper. The tube measures 3 1/8" long. It is in good condition overall. The tube has some indent. The cardboard box show some wear and tear and some staining. The ointment tends to come right out if you unscrew the cap.
