  • Description

This is one of the more popular styles of briefcase and it was fairly common before the war. It seems to have been slowly replaced by more modern, bulky designs starting in the mid 1930's and isn't really seen much after the war. It has a center catch flanked but two bicycle tool box style loop closures.  It is a simple and elegant design. It is in good condition, with minimal wear around the edges and some light surface rust. It measures about 15 3/4" across by 11" tall.
