    Vintage 1930s / 1940s purple dress with bow print.


    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 40" 
    Waist - 30" 
    Hips - 37" 
    Length - 43"

     

    Very uniquely made dress. There are two buttons in the front and each side has button holes to create an interesting fold over design. Hook and eye at the neck. Snaps at the side. This dress has also been reworked and repaired quite a bit. You can see some repairs along the seams. The hem was shortened (but the extra material is still there). The sleeves may have been shortened as well. The material feels like an artificial silk / cold rayon (not sure). There are a few small holes. A couple stains and very light general fading (see photos). Some areas of loose stitching.
