Probably an East German red/white speckled plastic butter dish in good condition. It is deeper than the standard butter dish but it does have the WWII standard 1/4 turn opening. No markings. I am guessing on the side of caution here calling this East German. It does mostly have WWII design elements and the speckled material was fairly common both during and after the war. There is a reasonably good chance that with more research you might be able to identify it as WWII. Either way it would certainly be better for using than the toxic reproductions that flood the market.
