Description
Reproduction Lichtschutzsalbe sunscreen tube. The artwork was recreated from an original example and the tubes were filled with usable modern SPF 50 sunscreen. Some may have printing errors / smudging (see photos), These errors are completely correct and often occurred on originals. I did reduce the size of the artwork slightly to improve the resulting print.
Each tube contains about 0.8oz. of sunscreen, which is about enough for a weekend. Originals were a very similar size, I guess the Wehrmacht did not believe in issuing anything in bulk. The cap is even a decent shape although I have seen a wide variety of caps used on original tubes. Price is for one.
