Reproduction mechanical mens wristwatch with working second dial. By pure chance I encountered someone selling a variety of reproduction watches which are interesting. All the watches were different, all have actual mechanical movements and need to be wound once every day-day and half. They were clearly based on period watches but are generally a bit larger than the original would have been. The face and hands do have luminous paint on them so you can sort of read it in the dark. The wristwatch is brand new.

I have no idea who made these. There is a sort of rising sun motif maker mark on the back but I was not able to find who that belongs to. The watches have proven to be pretty decent. I have one I decided to keep which has been running and keeping good time for a month now. The only issue I have with mine is that the wrist band sort of degraded a bit fast.

All in all, this is not a perfect reproduction but still nice. If I did not already have a selection of original watches for reenacting, I would happily wear this but I have also enjoyed having mine as an everyday watch.
