Original 1934 Czech army enameled steel canteen. I find a lot of these in Germany, they seem to have been issued to the Wehrmacht late in the war or at least to rear line units. They acquired many of them when they occupied Czech and the Slovak forces that fought alongside the Wehrmacht did use them. This one is in fairly good condition with its cork and the bits of string that hold that on. There is a chip in the enamel on the base and some minor chips elsewhere.
