Original Soviet cap star from the pilotka side cap. Red enamel. In good condition with light wear. These are difficult to date precisely, so all I can say is this is a much older cap star and it certainly has the look you expect of an original period piece. There is a chance it could be post war, but to most people, this would be considered original.
