Vintage WWII US Coast Guard SPARS women's white short sleeve uniform blouse and tie.

U.S. Coast Guard label. Yeoman 1st Class rate patch. One piece long tie - the shirt does not have the buttons under the collar for the two-piece tie. The tie is named to Florence M. Berg. The shirt is not named. The tie is still tied (I do not undo it). Some shine from an iron and general light wear. Sewn in handwritten number label on the collar. The size label and second Coast Guard label are washed out.

The blouse has some flaws. Two small holes on the chest (the white fabric underneath helps a little to hide them. Depending on hoe the tie lays, it may cover them. Hole on the back by the neck. A few small brown specks. There are some split seams and a repairs on the shoulder seam. One replaced button. The patch has some loose strings and seems to be sewn on at an odd angle. The Coast Guard label has a tear. 

This same shirt and tie was used by both WAVES and SPARS; the Coast Guard label is more rare than the Navy label. SPARS were much less common than WAVES. The SPARS numbered over 10,000 women compared to 86,291 WAVES.
