Description
Original German stoneware mineral water bottle. The bottle is in very decent condition and with just a little cleaning could easily be used at an event. There is a chip on the opening. It stands about 11" tall and 3 1/8" in diameter on the bottom.
This style of bottle is tough to date as they were common for well over 200 years and are still being made in some areas of Germany. This one is most likely from 1900-1960. Mineral water is a very German (European) beverage and is found in absolutely every home. It is often used to spritz apple juice to make apfelsaftschorle an amazingly refreshing drink (50/50 juice and sparkling mineral water). It really doesn't get much more German than that, except maybe bier.
