Decent period German made men's wrist watch. No band included. Its does run and keep decent time. The luminescent paint does still slight up somewhat. Thiel was a very popular "every man's" watch of its era. It is no Swiss watch, just a cost effective sturdy solution. They frequently advertised in military publications. Thiel did make watches after the war for a short time before it was absorbed by communism. It is possibly this was made in the early 50's buts its really hard to say and information can be hard to find. I will error on the side of caution and say it is early post war, but identical to what would have been made during the war.
