Interesting Verbandkasten first aid box with partial original contents. The box itself is a bit unusual and built slightly different than the typical Verbandkasten. The paint seems to be the original color which is reminiscent of the paint used inside of armored vehicles. I have not seen one before with these latches and handle. Perhaps a Luftschutz version? Most of the contents are wartime. The Deutsches Rotes Kreuz armband is early DDR. Bandages dated 1939 and 1944 along with several that are undated. The contents are generally nice and mostly in fairly good condition. The armband has some staining. The thermometer doesn't appear to be working. The cloth and leather pieces show general wear / dirt.
