Description
Vintage WWII WAAC / WAC (Women's Army Corps) khaki Hobby hat. It is marked size 22. Enlisted. The WAC changed from the walking eagle to the standard eagle that was used on men's hats in late summer of 1943. The hat still has the early walking eagle buttons on the side.
AS-IS. The underside of the brim has some rust staining. I have not made any attempt to clean it. The top has some light marks (almost like pen marks). There are some numbers stamped inside and crossed out. Some light staining on the inside lining. If it were not for the rust, this would be a pretty nice hat.
