    Vintage WWII WAC (Women's Army Corps) khaki jacket.

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 41 1/2"
    Waist - 36"
    Length - 26 1/2"
    Sleeve (shoulder seam to shoulder seam) - 23 1/4"

    The jacket is dated 1943 and marked size 38S. It is labeled "Jackets, WAAC, Summer, Officers', Tropical, Worsted, Khaki" However, it does not have the officer's braid on the sleeves and the insignia is done up for enlisted (the insignia may have been added postwar). The sleeves have patch ghosts (stitching where patches used to be). There are a few stains and a couple tiny moth nips. There is some wear and fraying around the pocket. The epaulet and pocket buttons are safety pinned in place (the main buttons are sewn on). There is staining on the lining on the underarms.
