WAVES Women's Navy Jacket PW
(B-35.5" W-28.5")

Vintage WAVES women's uniform jacket. This jacket is postwar, however it is the same exact style as wartime, except the buttons should be a dark blue (for enlisted) instead of gold (gold buttons were reserved for officers during the war. After the war, both enlisted and officers had gold buttons).

Bust - 35 1/2"
Waist - 28 1/2"
Length - 23 1/2"

The jacket is missing the WAVES insignia on the collar. Dark blue wool. There are a few small stains (no attempt has been made to clean them). Light wear under the arms (not very noticeable unless you're looking for it). Some of the stitching has come loose on the lining. The lining has some staining.

This jacket really wouldn't take a lot to convert to wartime specs (just buttons and patches).

The buttons are a gold color but the photos make them look yellow.
