Description
Nice German wooden recorder in its original pouch. Instruments are not something I know a great deal about as far as dating them goes, but this certainly seems prewar. The cloth pouch shares a lot of similarities with other items from the 1920s-1930s. It also shares a lot of similarities with HJ fifes. It seem to be in good working condition although I do not recall my elementary school days well enough to produce a recognizable tune. The mouthpiece seems pretty clean and decent, and not gnawed on by some teething little HJ kid.
