Nice German wooden recorder in its original pouch. Instruments are not something I know a great deal about as far as dating them goes, but this certainly seems prewar. The cloth pouch shares a lot of similarities with other items from the 1920s-1930s. It seem to be in good working condition although I do not recall my elementary school days well enough to produce a recognizable tune. The mouthpiece has some wear, perhaps gnawed on by some HJ kid. The fabric case has some tears on the end and some stains.
