Original WWI German enamel liquor flask in decent condition with about 70% of the original paper label. Gruß aus der Heimat! Greetings from Home! This would have been a gift sent to the front to boost morale. What I like is someone wrote on the label "Magen wärmer" which basically translates to belly warmer. Wohl bekomms! (a drinking toast similar to "cheers!") written toward the bottom. The enamel is in very good condition. The label shows a lot of wear and tear, discoloration and staining. Missing the cork.
