Original WWI medal pin For Mothers of the Defenders of Liberty. Presented by the City of Rochester New York Sept 4th 1918. Made by Bastion Bros. The stars on the top indicate how many sons in service and this medal is for three (most, of course, are 1 star and I have seen a 4 star before). Fairly rare to have three sons all serving in WWI. It is in good condition.
