Original Portland Zement (cement) calendar book for 1942. There is a list of national memorial days (Gedenktage) in the front with party leaders and important people's birthdays, Autobahn construction dates, victories in the war, significant dates for the NSDAP, etc. The calendar even has Eintopf-Sonntag (encouraging people to have stew instead of a nice meal on the second Sunday of the month and donate the money saved to the Winterhilfswerk) and there are several patriotic sayings throughout, "in war and victory, your sacrifice for Germany".
A lot of the book is information on cement standards, delivery conditions, thickening mortar and concrete, building reinforced concrete structures, formulas and number tables, etc.
