  • UK shipping update

We have examined all of our options for UK shipping and have arrived at a better solution.  We have changed all UK shipments to flat rate and added registered where we can.  We will no longer be able to refund shipping costs if your order is lost in the mail. Our new shipping rates are more expensive, but still much cheaper than all the other options we explored (about $70 cheaper.) If shipping charges turn out to be less than what you are charged we will refund the difference.  We appreciate our UK based customers, as we know they are...

  • New German reenacment rifle grenades now available!

We are ready to release our newest reenactment G.Sprgr.30's.  They are now available for purchase.  All in all, these are our best ones yet with several improvements in appearance and construction with only minor trade offs.  The best improvement is that they come to you basically ready to take into the field without painting or much work of any kind. Another improvement is that you can now fill them with smoke or powder with out worrying about shrapnel.  This new construction also enabled us to drop the price of rifle grenades (down to $18 from $20 for five rounds and...

  • War's End Shop coming soon

As we expand our manufacturing to include more Allied gear and generally open up to making more than just German stuff we are recognizing the need for an easier to spell web address.  For this reason we will be testing a new name, War's End Shop or warsendshop.com.  For the time being the new address will simply navigate you to our current site so you can use either address.  We will be changing our banner and a few other odds and ends gradually as well as putting up more U.S. gear and pre orders.  One product in particular is very...

  • 8cm Gr.W.34 page renamed

We have changed our 8cm Gr.W.34 page to Mortar, Artillery, & Anti-Tank.  We changed it because we are expecting to post more items that would fit this category and it seemed better to change this category rather than create a whole new one.  Our focus is still on the 8cm.

  • New Tools

We recently acquired a few new tools; a mini mill and an original German sewing machine. The mill is proving very useful and we are already dreaming up bigger plans.  It might be time for us to bring some of our CNC milling in-house.  It could solve many of our set up cost problems for our bigger projects.  We are waiting on some parts but our sewn projects will all be made on the original pfaff sewing machine very soon;  It may even work for leather and heavy cord, fingers crossed.

  • General update

The last month or so has been very slow and that has taken a toll on some projects and slowed them down.  As a few more orders come in, we are able to start the ball rolling again on multiple items.  A recent wood box order has given us the opportunity to try out some new manufacturing techniques which produced very nice finger joints much more efficiently than before.  The order also reminded us how much time goes into even the simplest of boxes. Our pricing for the boxes is accurate as quoted in the listings and further discounts aren't...

  • US Pineapple grenade project poll

We need your help!  How much would you pay for a display quality reproduction WWII US pineapple grenade that actually "worked"? You would pull the pin, pop the spoon and the grenade would make a loud bang sound (about as loud as a blank rifle round.)  If it was easy to use, safe, and cost about $2 to refill?  We need to know because this is a huge project that will cost a lot to set up and we have to know how much we will have to sell them for in the end.  Ask your friends, contact us, please...
