This what I would deem a good reenactment usable pair of binoculars. They are in reasonably nice condition, usable, but not pristine. You can have a great set for events without taking a collection piece into the field.
The pressstoff case is nice except someone has cut off the beltloop leather on the back of the case. This doesn't effect the hinge leather or function, you just cant put it on your belt. It looks like it was probably cut off a long time ago. I have included one of our reproduction binocular case straps so you will have a way to carry them. The case is dated 1944 with a waffen amt. It really would be a nearly excellent example if the belt loop was still there.
The binoculars are well used, but still good. The textured coating has flaked off around the housing but are otherwise actually quite nice and not very worn. The lenses are fairly good and clear with some black specs. The prism alignment is also still quite good so when you look through them the images line up properly. The right lens also still has the reticle. The binoculars still have the original neck strap in reasonably usable condition but you may want to consider a repro if you plan on using these a lot or if you or the people that might use them are hard on gear. There is even a little leather tab left on the strap which would have at one time held on the eyepiece cover. Excellent for birdwatching.
All in all, a very nice set which I would happily keep for myself to use if I didn't already have a similar set. Truly an ideal reenacting set. The 10X50's are rather dear to me as my grandfather brought back a set from the war and he used them nearly every day of his life to watch the birds (and probably the neighbors). They were always sitting next to his chair by the bay window and might be one of the first pieces of WWII German equipment I ever encountered. I now keep one next to my own chair for nostalgia's sake.
