Original 1930s bird shaped lemon squeezer. It is marked "SMF D.R.P. " (Deustches Reichs Patent). Its amazing what a little lemon will do for a schnitzel. It is in fairly good condition with some light general wear. It is a little dirty and needs a good cleaning.
I find these to be quite fun as a rather similar design is still frequently found at various German restaurants, so I do have a very positive association between this and very good schnitzel.
