Description
Original Gebirgsjäger belt loop Karabinerhaken or just karabiner for holding pitons and other climbing gear at the ready. These are pre-war hooks in excellent condition. The manufacturers ink stamp is inside the loop. The rivet used on this is not at all out of place for pre-war mountaineering gear. These hooks are extremely rare, especially in unissued condition.
