British WRNS PT Shorts Size 3 (27" waist)

Vintage WWII British WRNS (Women's Royal Naval Service or "Wrens") PT shorts.

Waist - 26"-27"
Hips - 35"-36"
Length - 18 1/2"
Inseam - 6"

The label reads "Skirts Divided. P.T. W.R.N.S Size 3" made by Derwent Manufacturing Co. Ltd. Co. I believe this same style shorts were used by the A.T.S. as well. There is no date, but they came with a 1944 dated pair and look identical. The measurements listed on the label seem bigger than what they actually measure (the waist measurement of 27" is tight). They button on the side with two buttons.

Overall good condition. There is a little wear and fraying on the edge by the buttons and buttonholes. One tiny hole near the bottom. Inside, there is an extra gusset sewn in the crotch.
